Whatever it takes to reach the remote river people!
God has put together a revolving team of Brazilian pastors and missionaries to partner with us as we spread the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ on the Juruá River in the Amazon! We are training them on how to use the discipleship method/manual that Stan wrote to establish a firm basic Christian foundation. Our vision has always been to raise up Brazilian leadership to carry forward, and our ultimate vision is that the river people will eventually become missionaries to their own people. We are overjoyed and blessed to see it happening, as well as getting to be so involved, even from a distance, with occasional trips for hands-on encouragement to the team.

Living Word is blessing the unreached river people of the Amazon, and God is bringing in the harvest. We all rejoice when someone comes to know Jesus as their Savior. We thank you. Please pray for

- the missionaries as they minister in five communities where there are believers whom we are actively discipling.
- a place in the community of Carapana where we are starting leadership training to lay the foundation for a church plant and for wisdom, knowledge, and participation of the believers in this training.
- health and safety for the missionaries as they travel on the boats.
- the administration as we work through planning and seeking resources.
