“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

At Living Word, our pastors use an expository preaching style to teach biblical truths grounded in God's Word. To preach an expository sermon means that the Word of God is prioritized through focus on its original context, its timeless principles, and its application for God's people today. The point(s) being made by God's Word is(are) the main point(s) of each sermon, no matter the topic being discussed. In preaching this way, we seek to stay true to biblical doctrine and to offer practical application of that doctrine. What this looks like typically is that, for Sunday services, we preach through a book of the Bible verse by verse.
